++++Typodryne – a chemical way of reading++
The aim of this small workshop was the tryout of methods for raster-based font design. Inspired by molecular structural formulas, I designed a font from the basic form of a hexagon. The entire environment of the formulas, such as element names, formulas, typologies, and scientific descriptions, are fictitious. Of Course, this writing is completely useless and can not be used in everyday writing, but it playfully illustrates that our font system is a code which could be transformed by the application of a varity of different systems.
